Live well, play well, be well.
Whole-body chiropractic care: spines, shoulders, knees, feet, and everything in between. Dr. Karl Forsberg has been practicing in Reno since 2003.
What we treat
A different kind of chiropractic care
Most chiropractors treat the spine. Dr. Karl treats the whole body. That difference is why patients come to him when no one else has figured it out.
Chiropractic Adjustment
Dr. Karl adapts his technique to the patient. His primary approach is Diversified, but he also uses Activator, Thompson Drop Table, Gonstead, and Chiropractic Bio-Physics depending on what your body responds to that day.
Extremity Adjusting
Shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees, ankles, and feet. Dr. Karl is trained in extremity adjustment. Patients often see him specifically for foot pain, tennis elbow, or shoulder problems that other providers could not resolve.
Dry Needling
Dr. Karl holds a Master Dry Needler (MDN) certification. Dry needling targets trigger points in muscle tissue to release tension that adjustments alone cannot reach. It is a Western clinical technique grounded in musculoskeletal anatomy.
Kinesio Taping
Dr. Karl is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP). Tape is applied to support a joint, reduce swelling, or extend the benefit of an adjustment between visits.
Rehab and Corrective Care
Individualized exercises and corrective protocols focused on the underlying cause of pain. Often combined with adjustments to support recovery between visits.
Nutritional Guidance
Nutritional supplements and lifestyle habits recommended as part of a care plan when appropriate to support recovery and long-term wellness.
Sports Physicals
Pre-participation physicals for student athletes. Standard and high school sports program physicals available.
DOT Physicals
Full physical examinations for commercial driver's license holders, covering requirements for initial licensing and re-licensing.

Patient reviews
What patients say
"Dr. Karl is great! I have been a client since 2020. He is professional and very knowledgeable. He spends time with you. He modifies and tailors the adjustments to what is going on that day. I highly, highly recommend him."
"I have had foot pain for over 20 years & had given up. Thinking it is what it is. I was seeing Dr Forsberg for another issue & on a whim asked him to check it out...OMG I have NO more foot pain. A miracle."
"I move better thanks to Dr. Karl. Highly recommend. After a series of appointments over the course of the last year he's fixed some tricky problems for me. He's not just some mall chiropractor who adjusts your spine and sends you on your merry way. I had no idea my foot could be adjusted, or my elbow for that matter. Besides adjustments I tried sports tape, dry needling and massage that when combined finally worked way better than a cortisone shot from my podiatrist. My foot is pain free and I go every so often with other aches and pains. So glad I found him."

What makes Core Health different from other chiropractors?
Dr. Karl treats the entire body, not just the spine. He is certified in Kinesio Taping and Dry Needling, trained in multiple chiropractic techniques, and specializes in extremity adjusting. Many patients come to him after other providers could not identify the actual source of their pain.
Can you treat injuries beyond back pain?
Yes. Foot pain, knee pain, shoulder problems, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis: these are common reasons patients book with Dr. Karl. He has specific training in extremity care that most general chiropractors do not.
How do I book an appointment?
Book online at any time through our BookedIn scheduling link, or call (775) 393-9894 during office hours. New patients are welcome.
What is dry needling and how is it different from acupuncture?
Dry needling targets trigger points in muscle tissue to release tension and reduce pain. It is a Western clinical technique based on musculoskeletal anatomy. Dr. Karl holds a Master Dry Needler (MDN) certification, one of the highest levels of training available.
Do you accept new patients?
Yes. Book online or call and Dr. Karl will get you scheduled for your initial exam and first adjustment.
